The fifth annual Grapple at The Garden dual meet event will take place at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, November 27. A total of 20 colleges and universities will compete, including 8 Division I programs led by a highly-anticipated MSG rematch battle between two top 15 NCAA 2016 national tournament finishers - Cornell vs. Rutgers! Other Division I programs represented will be Princeton, Hofstra, Maryland, George Mason, and making their MSG Grapple debut, Buffalo and Columbia.
The annual Grapple at the Garden, which has become a staple on the college wrestling calendar, will once again bring together a vast array of collegiate programs in a dual meet format, as the event also includes, two Division II (LIU Post, Pitt-Johnstown), and eight Division III institutions including Muhlenberg, Oswego State, Wilkes University, Mount Saint Vincent, US Merchant Marine Academy, Johns Hopkins University, and NYU. In addition, the club teams from SUNY Farmingdale and Stony Brook University will also be participating.
