The fourth annual Grapple at The Garden dual meet event will take place at Madison Square Garden on Sunday, November 29. A total of 22 colleges and universities, including 11 Division I programs led by five top 20 NCAA 2015 national tournament finishers -- Cornell (No.5), Nebraska (No.9), Illinois (No.12), and Northwestern (No.15) -- along with top local programs Rutgers, Hofstra, and Princeton will all compete as part of their season-long march towards the 2016 NCAA Division I wrestling championships taking place March 17-19 – also at Madison Square Garden.
The annual Grapple at the Garden, which has become a staple on the college wrestling calendar, will once again bring together the largest group of college programs in a dual meet format, including 11 Division I, one Division II, and seven Division III institutions featuring Cornell, Drexel, Franklin & Marshall College, George Mason, Illinois, Maryland, Muhlenberg, Nebraska, Northwestern, SUNY Oswego, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Wilkes University, as well as local programs Hofstra, LIU Post, Mount Saint Vincent, New York University, Princeton, Rutgers, and Stevens Institute. In addition, the club teams from Penn State University, Stony Brook University, and SUNY Farmingdale will also be participating.
