The Rangers enter their 82nd year of operation with their eyes on the prize -- The Stanley Cup. With a fine blend of veterans, led by future Hall of Famers Jaromir Jagr and Brendan Shanahan, and a strong youth presence to the team, including goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and forward Petr Prucha, there is a buzz around The Garden that has not been felt in many years. Head Coach Tom Renney, coming off two consecutive Stanley Cup Playoff appearances, will also be welcoming the arrival of Gotham Guns Scott Gomez and Chris Drury to this year's lineup. With the depth on the front line and the experience the back-end, the Blueshirts have the pieces in place for a successful 2007-08 campaign. ![]() DISABLED SERVICES UPDATE |
