Terms of Use for Message Boards and Chat

These are the terms of use that every member using interactive areas of thissite agrees to adhere to. This would include chat rooms, message boards andother interactive areas such as multimedia and contests.

Communicating in a chat room or on message boards is different from face-to-facecommunication. Only the words are seen, not your facial expressions or tone ofvoice. Please pay careful attention to how you use your words.

Remember that the words you enter in a burst of passion or indignant anger willbe there for you and everyone else to see, sometimes long after those intensefeelings have passed. That's not meant to discourage spontaneity, but just afriendly reminder of the long-term existence and effects of what you post.

You may, from time to time, find yourself in disagreement with someone else'sopinion. At times like these, please keep in mind it's safer and more polite totake issue with the comments rather than the person.

By using this MSG Network service, you agree that you will not post any of thefollowing material in chat rooms, bulletin boards, or other forums:

• Any communication that is intended to harass, belittle, humiliate, threaten orcause embarrassment to a fellow member.

• Material that contains vulgar, obscene or indecent language or images.Attempting to bypass the filter by misspelling, inserting spaces or symbols,transposing letters, using look-alike symbols or any other method is notallowed.

• Any communication that contains advertising, promotions, junk mail, spam(multiple copies in one area or the same communication in multiple areas), chainletters, or any other form of solicitation.

• Material that defames, abuses or threatens others.

• Material that is intended to annoy, offend or disrupt by going against theclear nature of the board or topic. This includes but is not limited to,misleading topic titles, posting false information as fact, provoking otherusers, or making statements that do not generally pertain to the designatedtopic or theme of the forum.

• Statements that contain bigoted, abusive, racist or hateful language orexpressions, epithets or slurs, text, photographs or illustrations in poortaste, inflammatory attacks of a personal, racial or religious nature.

• Material that advocates illegal activity or discusses illegal activities withthe intent to commit them.

• Post or otherwise make available any material that contains software virusesor any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy orlimit the functionality of any computer software or hardware ortelecommunications equipment.

• Material that impedes or otherwise prohibits communication; disrupts thediscussion including, without limitation, using fan names in topical boards thatare offensive to the topic, the team, the sport and/or its fans, and repeatedlyposting off-topic messages in a topical message board.

• Users or visitors shall remain solely responsible for the content of theirmessages in the Forums. We are not responsible for the content or opinionsposted by users in any Forum. You take responsibility for postings under yourusername and use the information provided in the Forums at your own risk.

Statements or postings that violate the above terms will be deleted frompostings upon discovery. While we may attempt to notify you if we move or deletea post, we are under no obligation to do so. Depending on the nature of theviolation, MSG Network, at their sole discretion may terminate a customer'saccount.
