Lost or Stolen Tickets

Please read and communicate this policy to those you share your tickets with, in order to avoid an embarrassing situation for the ticket holder.


If you've lost a season ticket, the Subscriber of Record must repurchase it at the Season Subscription Game Day Service Window, located in the MSG Box Office Lobby. Lost tickets can be repurchased beginning 90 minutes prior to game time on the date of the game in question. If the subscriber has given tickets away to clients or other persons and that person loses the tickets, we can only allow the repurchasing of tickets if accompanied by a letter of authorization from the Subscriber of Record. The purchaser will be reimbursed in the manner in which the ticket was paid only if the original unused ticket is produced and returned with the pass issued for that game. Madison Square Garden keeps records of replacement tickets and will provide this service only one time per season per subscriber. For this reason, we urge the subscriber to treat the ticket in the same manner as they would cash.

Requests for replacement tickets can be submitted to the Season Subscriptions department by fax (212.465.6075) or by e-mailing the Subscriptions Department at seasonsubscriptions@thegarden.com. Be sure to include your name, account number, seat locations and the name of the person who will be attending the game (if different than the Subscriber of Record). Note: The Lost Ticket mailbox is checked Monday through Friday, during normal business hours only. To report lost or stolen tickets after business hours on a game day or over a weekend, please call 212.465.6050 beginning 90 minutes prior to game time until 1 hour after game time. Subscribers may also report lost or stolen tickets in person on a game day or over a weekend at the Season Subscriptions game day service windows, located in the main Box Office Lobby, beginning 90 minutes prior to game time until 1 hour after game time.

If a season ticket is stolen - a police report must be provided to the Season Subscriptions Office by fax or in person, listing the precinct number, officer's name and telephone number, location the tickets were stolen from, and a list of game(s) stolen and seat locations. A pass or replacement ticket(s) will be issued for the game(s). Whenever possible, please make every attempt to provide this information at least one business day prior to the game(s) in question. Please note a false claim of any stolen ticket(s) is illegal and can result in the revocation of your subscription. Tickets to games during the regular season may be replaced at the sole discretion of Madison Square Garden.

THERE WILL BE NO REPLACEMENT OF TICKETS, LOST OR STOLEN, DURING THE PLAYOFFS. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
